How we process your personal data, for what purposes, how long we keep it and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation.

This privacy policy explains how UAB Motren (“we”) processes personal data when you use the website, send an enquiry or enter into a transaction with us. It is based on the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania.

2. What data we process

  • Enquiry data: name, phone number, email address, message content.
  • Property data: cadastral number, plot location, area, description of stands, expected price, photos and documents you attach.
  • Transaction data: personal identification number, identity document data, bank account, ownership documents. Collected only when a contract is concluded.
  • Technical data: IP address (stored only as an irreversible hash to protect against abuse), browser type, cookie data if you consent.

4. Who receives the data

We share data only as necessary: with notaries and the State Enterprise Centre of Registers to conclude the transaction, with the National Land Service and the State Forest Service for statutory procedures, and with accounting and IT providers (hosting, email) who process data on our behalf under contract. We never sell data or share it for marketing.

If you consent to statistics cookies, Google Analytics data may be transferred to the USA. Such transfers rely on the European Commission adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

6. Data security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), limit access to enquiries to authorised staff and store uploaded files in a directory with an unguessable address. Enquiries are deleted automatically when the retention period ends.

7. Cookies

Information about cookies and how to manage them is in the cookie policy. Statistics cookies are used only with your consent, which you can change at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.

8. Changes

We may update this policy when the law or our activities change. The current version is always published on this page and material changes are marked with the update date.
